What we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.
Data we hold
- Account data — email address, display name, optional organisation and role.
- Uploaded data — the spreadsheet you upload, a parsed snapshot used for computation, and the column profile.
- Analysis data — the tests requested, results, charts and generated exports.
- Marketplace data — projects, on-platform messages, appointments and payment records.
- Operational data — sign-in timestamps and error logs used to keep the service reliable.
How it is used
Your data is processed to run the analyses you request, to operate the marketplace, and to secure the platform. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your uploaded research data to train models.
Access controls
Uploads live in private storage. Row-level security limits every record to its owner, and to the statistician you have explicitly attached to a project. Administrators can see moderation records and application material only.
Sensitive and personal data in uploads
Wherever possible, upload pseudonymised data. If your file contains identifiers, you are the controller of that data and must have a lawful basis and, where relevant, ethics approval for processing it.
Retention
Datasets and exports are retained while your account is active. Inactive accounts receive a retention notice before data is removed. Deleting a dataset removes both the database record and the stored file.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data from your account, or by contacting us. Where GDPR or similar law applies, you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your supervisory authority.
Sub-processors
We use infrastructure providers for hosting, database, storage and email delivery. They process data only on our instructions and under contract.
