Analyse
Upload a file. Get a complete, defensible analysis.
Statif profiles your data, plans the tests it can legitimately run, computes them with published formulas and explains the output in plain English.
Best for
1 · Profiling
Column types, distinct levels, missing counts, duplicate rows, constant columns, skewness and outliers — reported before a single test is run.
2 · Planning
Automatic mode builds a plan from the structures it found. Manual mode hands you the catalogue so you can specify each test yourself.
3 · Reporting
Statistic, df, exact p, confidence interval, effect size, assumption audit, chart, APA sentence and the citation for the formula used.
Before you upload
Clean structure is the single biggest factor in whether an automated analysis is meaningful.
- One variable per column and one observation per row
- A single header row — no merged cells or stacked titles
- No totals or summary rows mixed in with the data
- Consistent coding for categories (Male/male/M becomes three groups)
- Missing values left blank or marked NA rather than zero
What gets computed
Across nine families, depending on what your data supports:
Your file stays private
Uploads are stored in private, per-account storage. Only you can read them unless you attach the dataset to a project with a statistician. Delete a dataset and both the record and the underlying file are removed.
