Question 1

Is Statif a safe, educational website for students of all ages?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Statif.com is an educational platform for learning statistics and preparing academic research. It is designed for students, school and university learners of every age, teachers, tutors and researchers. The content is strictly educational and academic — statistics lessons, research tools and scholarly guidance. It is family-safe and ad-free, and contains no adult, violent or inappropriate material of any kind, so it is appropriate for children in classroom and home-learning settings.

Question 2

Is Statif free?

Accepted Answer

Core tools — Analyze Data, Sample Size, Tests & Formulas and the Citation Generator — are free. Some advanced exports and statistician projects may require an approved account or payment.

Question 3

Do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

No account is needed to try the free tools and the sample-size and citation generators. Creating a free account gives you larger upload limits, saved datasets and charts, and access to the marketplace.

Question 4

What file types can I upload?

Accepted Answer

CSV, Excel (.xlsx/.xls), Word (.docx) and PDF. Statif reads the real content and, for documents with several tables, lets you pick which one to analyse.

Question 5

Are the statistics real or AI-guessed?

Accepted Answer

Real. Tests are computed in Python (scipy/pandas/statsmodels) using published formulas, each shown with a citation. The AI only explains the results in plain language — it does not invent numbers.

Question 6

How does the statistician marketplace work?

Accepted Answer

Browse verified statisticians, start a protected consultation, and share Excel/CSV files in-chat. Contact details are automatically hidden to keep everything on-platform. When work is finalised, the statistician receives 80% of the agreed price.

Question 7

Is my data private?

Accepted Answer

Your datasets are tied to your account and used only to generate your analyses. We don't sell your data, and you can delete datasets and charts at any time from your dashboard. See the Privacy policy in the footer.

Question 8

Which citation styles are supported?

Accepted Answer

APA 7th, MLA 9th, Chicago 18th and Harvard (Cite Them Right 12th). Paste a DOI or ISBN to auto-fill from Crossref or Open Library, then copy the reference and in-text citation.

Question 9

Can I install Statif as an app?

Accepted Answer

Yes — use the install button in the header (or your browser's install option) to add Statif to your device for a full-screen, app-like experience.
